Memphis-Norfolk

On May 2, Northwest will launch nonstop service from its Memphis hub to Norfolk. Northwest's Memphis-Norfolk service will include flight 5924, departing Memphis at 7:20 p.m. and arriving in Norfolk at 10:29 p.m. Starting May 3, flight 5741 will depart Norfolk at 7:35 a.m. and arrive at Memphis at 8:45 a.m. Northwest's Memphis-Norfolk service will be operated by Pinnacle Airlines using 50-seat CRJ 200 aircraft. Northwest currently serves Norfolk from its Detroit and Minneapolis/St. Paul hubs.

Memphis-San Diego

Northwest will offer seasonal Memphis-San Diego nonstop service between May 2 and August 18, 2008. Customers will depart Memphis at 9:15 a.m. and arrive in San Diego at 10:57 a.m. The return flight will depart San Diego at 12:05 p.m. and arrive at Memphis at 5:50 p.m. local time. Northwest's Memphis-San Diego service will be operated using an Airbus A319. Northwest currently serves San Diego from its Detroit and Minneapolis/St. Paul hubs.

Memphis-Colorado Springs

The airline will offer twice daily nonstop service between its Memphis hub and Colorado Springs beginning June 15, 2008. The new service will be operated by Northwest Airlink partner Pinnacle Airlines using 50-seat CRJ-200 aircraft.

Northwest flight 5741 will depart Memphis at 8:30 a.m. and arrive in Colorado Springs at 9:49 a.m. Flight 5738 will depart Memphis at 1:40 p.m. and arrive in Colorado Springs at 2:50 p.m.

Northwest flight 5740 will depart Colorado Springs at 10:30 a.m. and will arrive in Memphis at 1:50 p.m. Flight 5739 will depart Colorado Springs at 3:30 p.m. and arrive in Memphis at 6:36 p.m.

"Northwest is pleased to link Colorado Springs to our convenient hub in Memphis," said Dennis Newman, vice president of network planning and scheduling. "This new service gives our Colorado Springs customers a second option for connecting to the Northwest network with convenient access to more of the destinations Northwest serves."


Memphis-Hartford

The nonstop, daily flight to Hartford is a seasonal service that will begin June 15, 2008. Return service from Hartford will begin June 16, 2008.

Northwest flight 5721 will depart Memphis at 6:35 p.m. and arrive in Hartford at 10:15 p.m. Seasonal service for this flight ends October 31, 2008.

Northwest flight 5776 will depart Hartford at 6:15 a.m. and will arrive in Memphis at 8:00 a.m. Service for this seasonal flight will end November 1, 2008.

The new Memphis-Hartford service also will be operated by Northwest Airlink partner Pinnacle Airlines using 50-seat CRJ-200 aircraft.
