Frontier to
Add Memphis-Ft. Lauderdale Flight
(Continued)
Frontier in May
started flying from Memphis to Denver, Las Vegas and Orlando, Fla.
Through the end of this year, the airline will add frequencies to its
existing routes: Flights to and from Las Vegas will increase to five
days a week with a new daytime schedule, effective Sept. 6; a third
flight to and from Denver will be added on Nov. 15; and a second daily
flight to and from Orlando will begin Nov. 15.
The new flights and frequencies will bring Frontier's (NASDAQ: FRNT)
total non-stop flights to and from Memphis to seven.
"Passenger response to our Memphis service has been strong since we
first started selling tickets this February," said John Happ, senior
vice president of marketing and planning for Frontier, in a statement.
"It hasn't taken long for travelers from the Mid-South to appreciate our
low fares and best-in-class customer service, and we're thrilled to
provide them with Ft. Lauderdale as another non-stop destination."
