Beginning last decade, most major carriers rolled out online booking bonuses of 1,000-miles-per-round-trip tickets bought on their websites. The move was meant to help drive business to the airline's then-new websites. Among the "big six" carriers, Delta joins Northwest in no longer offering the online booking bonus. Continental, United and US Airways now each offer a 500-mile round-trip bonus for tickets bought on their sites. American's bonus is 250 miles round-trip economy tickets and 500 for premium tickets.
