Delta Air Lines is adding new selections to the EATS food-for-sale menu, upgrading spirits offered and offering customers the opportunity to donate to the American Cancer Society with their onboard purchases. The new menu includes a kids’ plate with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches on whole wheat bread. Delta is also adding Ben and Jerry’s ice cream and Margaritaville Margarita mix. Well, I thought, nothing new here. As most of us frequent travelers know, the truly disturbed and the questionably functional are just as free to fly as anyone else, if they aren’t on a terrorist watch list and don’t try to bring shotguns or other prohibited items through airport security.
