E-Passport Will Include New Safeguards
The State Department, in response to heated criticism, will likely add new, still unspecified safeguards to soon-to-be unveiled electronic passports. The department has previously said that security measures such as encryption and basic access controls were unnecessary considering measures to meet a now acknowledged need for additional protections, according to Frank Moss, deputy assistant secretary of state for passport services. Forgetfulness can cost you at airports
Forgetfulness isn't a crime, but these days it could get you fined and your name placed on a government security database. The fines are being handed out at airports across the country to travelers caught trying to pass through security with banned items in their carry-on baggage. Memphis Women Magazine Top 10 Women in Business 2005
A & I Travel's women owners were featured in Memphis Woman Magazine in the May 2005 issue as a part of the Top 10 Women in Business. Memphis Woman Magazine compiled a list of the Largest Top 10 Women in Business for the Memphis area. "Largest" is defined by total gross revenues during a 12-month period ending December 31, 2004 and "woman owned" is defined as at least 51% woman-owned an operated.

Northwest Airlines Announces New Nonstop Jet Service Between Memphis and Columbia, S.C.
Northwest Airlines announced new nonstop jet service between its hub at Memphis and Columbia, S.C. two daily flights will be offered beginning Oct. 2. The new flight will be operated by Northwest Airlink partner, Pinnacle Airlines Corp., using its Canadair Regional Jet (CRJ), which seats up to 50 passengers. The new flights will bring to 94 the number of destinations served nonstop from Memphis. Click Here to continue.
