Passport And Visa Reminder
Source: A & I Travel Service
As we begin the new year, please take a moment to pull out your passport and double-check the expiration date. Many destinations, including Canada, require that your passport be valid for months after your return date. If your passport is expiring in the next six months, please call us for assistance in renewing.

Many of you have multi-entry, long-term Visas for other countries. Please check the expiry date on these Visas. Failure to keep these important documents up to date will result in interrupted travel plans.

Global Entry Update

If you haven’t heard of the Global Entry program, the link below explains the process. Global Entry allows international travelers, at some airports, the ability to bypass long customs and immigration lines. At this time, Memphis doesn’t have a Global Entry kiosk but many international gateway cities do. These airports are shown on this site under ‘locations’. http://www.globalentry.gov/howtoapply.html

You will see that there is a $100 nonrefundable application fee. Further, in order to be approved travelers must have a face-to-face interview at one of the enrollment center locations shown below. This interview could possibly be set up to coincide with a business trip to/through one of these interview cities.

Business Travelers Adapt to Airline Fees and Perks

At the airline departure lounge, I sometimes feel as if I’m some rube from the sticks, lined up with the hopeless mob outside a hot Hollywood nightclub. The red rope does not open for me or any of the others. I am not on the list because, like many business travelers, I have let my elite status lapse on various airlines since it is no longer worth the effort. Click Here to continue.
