Exceptional Customer Service

Elaine Simpson

Greetings Gentlemen

In our industry we are faced with daily constant challenges, some of which we foresee and others we do not, however all of which require our immediate attention. As a territorial salesman I have had a need to work closely with the staff at the Travel Center mainly Mrs. Elaine Simpson.

Recently at our Dealer Market in Las Vegas and at prior times and other occasions throughout the year, I have been faced with many situations requiring the assistance and services of Mrs. Elaine Simpson of our Orgill Travel Center.

Elaine, as she often does, took it upon herself to assist an International Customer who was at our Las Vegas Dealer Market from Costa Rica even though Orgill had nothing to do with booking his airlines. This customer who did not speak English was lost as to how to go about changing his airline reservation, staying on extended leave in Miami and returning on a later flight to Costa Rica.

Another case, involved yet another International customer whose hotel room was cancelled due to American Airlines missing the connecting flight, his luggage lost by American Airlines that contained all his "pre-worked" show orders and felt totally hopeless as to what to do.

In both cases, and there have been many others, Mrs. Elaine Simpson went beyond the "call of duty" and not only assisted but resolved the issues at hand with "ease", "professionalism" and with a unique "caring attitude". Many times her humor and manner of hospitality bring ease and comfort to my world traveling customers who are otherwise lost, confused and worried in a strange land.

Elaine is truly part of the Orgill Family and it's fitting to say that " Around the World or Around the Corner" Orgill and Elaine are here to help.

Just thought you ought to know, that I appreciate what she has done and the many more great things she will undoubtedly do for us in the future.

Our International Customer's prior to leaving Las Vegas not only acknowledged their appreciation of Orgill but also left knowing that Orgill was here to watch and protect them.

Way to go Elaine!

Thank you so much for your dedication.

Four-Hour Guide
Get The Most Out of the World's Business Capitals.
Source: Business Traveler
”My favorite part of Business Traveler is the 4-Hour guide.” I was surprised when one of the people I was meeting with told me that. It was 2001, and I was in a business meeting with a few people familiar with the magazine. Of course, I love to talk about Business Traveler, so I asked, ”Why?” “I travel a lot,” she explained. “Usually my schedule is given to me, and I seldom have time to research the places I visit. The 4-Hour guides give me the rest of my itinerary,” she said. “They tell me what I can do when I’m not in meetings—besides sitting in my hotel room and watching television! The 4-Hour guides give me the perfect agenda. I can say not only that I’ve been to Paris, but that I’ve seen Paris!” Click Here to see the guide.
